Any help would be appreciated (I am running at 44. I have no idea why any of this is happening, I've been contemplating buying a 3rd gen 4i4 but I don't even know if that will fix the problem. 128, 256 and 512 all work in a DAW but chrome will never work with 256 video games, OBS, voicemeeter, zoom, skype and discord often need me to change the buffer size multiple times for them to work which often results in my PC blue-screening. When I play music for example via Spotify, I get a sound through my speakers and I can see there is an audio signal going through OBS. Also 1024 never works for some reason even though its the largest size. I got a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 2nd Gen interface with 2 connected monitor speakers and a microphone which is connected via the instrument/line XLR port on the interface. For example sometimes a 128 buffer size will work but 256 won't, other times 256 will work but not 128. The problem mainly exists outside the DAW, I am aware that having too small of a buffer size will create a problem but in my case only one buffer size option will work at any given point. I had no problems when I used the interface without the drivers, however I need to have the drivers installed in order to record in a DAW without latency. I have a focusrite 2i2 on Windows 10 and have been having serious issues with the audio drivers across various applications mainly due to buffer size.
